Wildlife Trips
Our Wildlife Trips are from Easter until October and include trips to the Islands
of Staffa, Mull, Rhum, Eigg, Muck and Coll.
We have 2 hour Trips on Loch Sunart to visit Seals, Otters etc.
Whale Watching Trips to Isle of Muck or Full Day Trips to Treshnish
Isles including Staffa with it's famous Fingal's Cave.
We also have longer weekly excursions - eg: St
Kilda
Bird watching enthusiast trip, opportunities to see Sea Eagles from the boat and visiting remote and otherwise inaccessible places.

We have a 38' Aquastar - "Laurenca II" for all sorts
of Wildlife Trips. We often see Basking Sharks as well as Minke Whales and occasionally
Orca and where the Grey and Common Seals do the "people spotting".

Carna Farmhouse is on an island in the beautiful and remote west highland sea loch of loch Sunart, guarding the entrance to magical Loch Teacuis.
This is the ideal location for the ultimate 'Get away from it all' holiday, especially perfect for honeymoon's.

Originally built as a farming croft the cottage now provides accommodation with two bedrooms, sleeping 6
1 double & 1 twin bedrooms, bathroom, sitting room with loch views and multi-fuel stove which also heats water and radiators. Fitted kitchen/diner with gas cooker, fridge and 3 windows overlooking the loch. Sun lounge/porch.

Start after work Thursday evening, in the Highlands Friday am, we can arrange pick up at Fort William or arrange car hire from www.easydrivescotland.co.uk from £99 per week ( Now offering 20% discount for rail travelers with a pick up and drop off at the railway station!)
It’s also possible to get here from Fort William with our local with Shiel buses www.shielbuses.co.uk(timetable) The bus terminus is right next to the railway station, and its only a five minute walk into the town centre. There are also left luggage lockers in the station.
An early rise at Tyndrum to enjoy breakfast in the 1st Class lounge whilst watching Red Deer and crossing stunning Rannoch Moor. Arrive refreshed and away from any hustle and bustle.
Be met at Fort William station with your chosen hire car waiting, perhaps call in at the local supermarket for some essentials then either on to the Corran Ferry (20 mins drive) for the five minute crossing to Ardnamurchan or drive round along the “Road to the Isles” via Glenfinnan with its famous viaduct and Lochailort (A861) passing Glenuig and Loch Moidart, with stunning views to the west with Eigg and Muck in the distance.
On to Acharacle at the western end of Loch Shiel, turn right at Salen on to the B8007, watching out for Red Deer, seals and otters on the way until you arrive at your destination, Laga Bay, Loch Sunart where you will be met and welcomed.
There is also flights from £100 London to Glasgow (each way), hire a car Glasgow airport, followed by a scenic drive along Loch Lomond, across Rannoch Moor through Glen Coe to the Corran Ferry (approx 2 – 2 1/2 hour drive).
